The Trail Jack is a motor stand that, in combination with the side stand of the motorbike, will lift the front wheel or rear wheel off the ground. The Trail Jack is meant for (emergency) situations in which repairs or work needs to be done on motorbikes without a center stand and no lifting equipment is available. Like for example, when traveling. In combination with the side stand, the Trail Jack can be used when fixing a flat tyre, lubricating the chain or other situations in which one of the tyres needs to be lifted off the ground. With the Trail Jack this will also be possible in the middle of nowhere, without hauling with large stones or tree trunks to support the motorcycle.
The Trail Jack is made of durable galvanised steel and consists of several parts that can easily be dissembled to pack smaller.
To use the Trail Jack, lock the front brake with the supplied Velco strap (when working on the rear wheel) or put the engine in gear (when working on the front wheel). From the right side of the bike push the bike further onto the side stand so that one of the wheels comes off the ground. Now place the Trail Jack at a chose support point, for example under the swingarm, the engine block or the bashplate on a location where it cannot slip. Now slowly let the bike come back to rest on the Trail jack. One of the wheels of the motorcycle is now free from the ground.
