At the core of the Modra concept is the Knox Seasonless® layering system. The jacket is specifically designed to be worn over any Knox Armoured Shirt, creating a complete setup that delivers both impact protection and weather resistance, while maintaining maximum freedom of movement.
The outer shell is constructed with a high-performance 20K waterproof membrane and fully seam-sealed construction, ensuring reliable protection against rain and wind. At the same time, it remains highly breathable, making it suitable for long days in the saddle. The soft-touch stretch fabric enhances comfort and allows unrestricted mobility.
The Modra Jacket is CE Class B certified for abrasion resistance. As the jacket itself does not include armour, impact protection is provided by pairing it with a Knox Armoured Shirt. This results in a lightweight and flexible system without compromising safety.
A key feature of the Modra is its 4-in-1 modular design. The jacket can be configured as a fully layered waterproof jacket with thermal liner, as a standalone outer shell, as an insulated inner jacket, or as a gilet by removing the sleeves.
