The KLIM Carlsbad Pant is designed as a lightweight and purpose-driven adventure motorcycle pant, built around a philosophy of including only what is essential. This fourth generation focuses on a balanced combination of waterproof performance, protection, ventilation and comfort. The pant is intended for riders who want a streamlined and functional option for both on-road and off-road riding.
The pant is constructed with a GORE-TEX Performance Shell, providing permanent waterproof and windproof protection while maintaining breathability. Durable Cordura materials in key wear zones and goat leather on the inside of the knees deliver extra protection in the event of contact with the road surface, while also improving grip and control when riding. The material selection prioritizes durability without adding unnecessary weight or stiffness.
Protection is provided by KLIM Rogue Level 2 armor at the hips and knees. These protectors offer a high level of impact protection while remaining lightweight and well ventilated. Adjustable knee armor positioning ensures the protection stays securely in place regardless of riding position or movement.
Ventilation is handled through a functional system with intake vents on the thighs. This allows controlled airflow while riding and helps maintain comfort across changing temperatures and riding intensity.
Storage options are intentionally kept simple. Large thigh cargo pockets provide space for essential items without restricting movement. The Carlsbad Pant is designed to fit over off-road boots and pairs directly with the Carlsbad Jacket as part of a balanced adventure riding setup.
