LEATT Body Protector ReaFlex

Do you want protection you keep on all day, including when it is hot and you still have a hundred kilometres to go? The Leatt Body Protector ReaFlex is a two part system that protects your upper body without feeling like a harness strapped around you. It is meant for riders who go far, spend their time off road and do not want to pack their armour away halfway through the day.

Two parts that work together The lower part is a compression top with a full length zipper and the shoulder and elbow protection already built in. The chest and back protector goes over it. That keeps the protection in place without straps sliding off your shoulders, and lets you choose how much you wear on a hot ride. The back plate is extended, so your spine is covered further down.

ReaFlex stays soft until the moment it matters The impact material is ReaFlex, developed by Leatt. While you ride it stays flexible and moves with you, and under a hit it hardens at once and spreads the energy over a wider area. That material covers the shoulders, elbows, chest and back, so you keep your freedom of movement on the bars and in the saddle, including long stretches standing up.

Ventilation, fit and neck brace The fabrics are MoistureCool and AirMesh, which wick moisture and let air through, with an anti odour finish for multi day trips. The chest and back panels float on adjustable straps, so you set them up for your body and they stay where they belong. Padded flanks protect your ribs. The slim BraceOn system works with a Leatt neck brace, over or under your jersey. The packaging is plastic free.

Certification and sizing The chest is certified to EN1621-3 Level 1, the back to EN1621-2 Level 1 and the shoulders and elbows to EN1621-1 Level 1. On the Leatt protection score the ReaFlex reaches 19 points. Sizes follow body height: S for 160 to 166 cm, M for 166 to 172 cm, L for 172 to 178 cm, XL for 178 to 184 cm and XXL for 184 to 196 cm.
